Cool YouTube Downloader bringt Netzvideos auf die Festplatte. Die Freeware lädt Clips der Videoplattformen
YouTube und metacafe schnell auf den Rechner.
Nach der Installation öffnet Cool YouTube Downloader eine schmale Adressleiste auf dem Desktop. Um ein Video herunterzuladen, öffnet man die entsprechende Seite auf YouTube. Mit der Maus zieht man den Clip auf das Fenster von Cool YouTube Downloader und klickt auf Download. Alternativ gibt man die Videoadresse per per Copy&Paste ein. Will man mehrere Videos herunterladen, erstellt die Software eine Warteliste. Filme speichert das Programm im Flash-Format FLV an der gewünschten Stelle ab.
